For the lasted past fourteen
(14) months the Demopolis
Police Department has been
working on an undercover
drug operation called
"Gemini". Operation Gemini
was completed on November
20, 2012 with the arrest of
local dope dealers in the
Demopolis area. Officers from
the Demopolis Police
Department, the 17th Judicial
District Attorney's Office, the
Marengo County Sheriff's
Office, the Alabama Beverage
Control Board (ABC), the 4th
Circuit Drug Task Force and
the Selma Police Department
went around throughout the
city arresting suspected deal-
ers. Individuals were arrested
on Grand Jury and original
warrants.
The following individuals
were arrested:

Demopolis Police Chief
Tommie Reese said that
numerous arrests are forth
coming as Officers continue
picking up suspected drug
dealers. He noted that
although this operation has
come to a close, that another
began several months ago.
Chief Reese wanted to
thank all the agencies involved
in the roundup and left these

Arrests:
Donna F. Bruno, 44, was
arrested on Nov. 16 for con-
tempt of court (FFA).
Bobby J. Smith, 23, was
arrested on Nov. 16 for disor-
derly conduct on River Road.
Travis Wesley, 28, was arrest-
ed on Nov. 17 for DUI at Parr's
Chevron.
Cecilia L. Dixon, 38, was
arrested on Nov. 17 for negotiat-
ing worthless instrument at
Vowell's.
Hollis Bright, 49, was arrest-
ed on Nov. 17 for domestic vio-
lence (third degree) at the Creek
ridge Motel.
Dollie A. Bright, 44, was
arrested on Nov. 17 for domes-
tic violence (third degree) at the
Creek Ridge Motel.
Louis J. Morris, 26, was
arrested on Nov. 18 for con-
tempt of/interrupting court pro-
ceeding and an alias warrant on
Hwy 80 West.
Mark Gamble, 27, was
arrested on Nov. 18 for criminal
trespassing on Rainbow Circle.
Matthew McGilberry, 23,
was arrested on Nov. 19 for
drug paraphernalia possession
on Hwy 80 West.
Darren Harris, 30, was arrest-
ed on Nov. 19 for theft of prop-
erty (third degree) at Marvin's.
Van Brown, 55, was arrested
on Nov. 19 for contempt
of/interrupting court proceed-
ing.
Zaccheus L. McNealey, 25,

was arrested on Nov. 20 for pos-
session of marijuana (second
degree) at Crossgates.
Dellsania J. Jones, 32, was
arrested on Nov. 20 for harass-
ment, menacing (two counts) on
East Washington.
Pamela J. Clink, 32, was
arrested on Nov. 21 for insuffi-
cient funds check (four counts).
Frank Griffin, 72, was arrest-
ed on Nov. 21 for illegal distri-
bution of a controlled substance
at the Demopolis Post Office.
Josephine James, 53, was
arrested on Nov. 21 for theft of
property (third degree) on East
Washington St.
Sara E. Dunning, 31, was
arrested on Nov. 21 for cocaine
possession on Jefferson St.
Sekita R. McGrew, 31, was
arrested on Nov. 23 for negotiat-
ing worthless instrument (two
counts) and theft of property
(third degree) at Walmart.
Kenderick Montgomery, 20
was arrested on Nov. 23 for con-
tempt of/interrupting court pro-
ceeding on East Pettus St.
Michael S. Kaylor, 45, was
arrested on Nov. 24, for DUI on
Hwy 43 South.
Walter L. Charleston, Jr., 27,
was arrested on NoZ¢. 24 for
harassment at Parr's Chevron.
Mark K. Gamble, 27, was
arrested on Nov. 25 for disor-
derly conduct on Patterson St. ,
Incidents
On Nov. 16, an incident of
harassment was reported.
On Nov. 17, an incident of
harassment was reported on
South Ash St.
On Nov. 18, an incident of
burglary was reported on West
Canal St. A cellphone was
stolen.
On Nov. 19, an incident of
criminal mischief was reported
on Eastern Circle. A 2005
Chrysler 300 was damaged.
An incident of theft was
reported at Gould's Foot Care,
Nov. 19. Taken were: some
checks, BCBS Card, Sam's Visa
Card, some money, wallet, dri-
ver's license.
On Nov. 20, a hit and run
incident was reported on Hwy
80 East.
On Nov. 20, an incident of
rape was reported East Decatur
St. (Railroad Tracks).
On Nov. 20, an _incident of
theft was reported on First Ave.
A Air compressor was stolen.
On Nov. 20, an incident of
criminal tampering was report-
ed on South Walnut Ave.
On Nov. 21, an incident of
note pad, Newport cigarettes,
Smith & Wesson 40 Cal. pistol
with magazine (PDJ6852), 40
Cal. Winchester bullets were
found.
On Nov. 21, an incident of
criminal mischief was reported
on Olive Drive. A mobile home
front door was damaged.
On Nov. 21. an incident of
harassment was reported on
East Capitol St.
On Nov. 21, an incident of
theft of property (third degree)
was reported on Hwy 80 West.
A ribeye steak was stolen.
On Nov. 22, an incident of
simple assault was reported on
Cherry St.
On Nov. 22, an incident of
theft of lost property was report-
ed at Foscue Park. An Iphone
was taken.
On Nov. 23, an incident of
criminal mischief was reported
on Hwy 80 West. A black Buick
Lacrosse was damaged.
On Nov. 23, an incident of
simple assault was reported on
South Commissioners St.
On Nov. 24, an incident of
domestic violence (third degree) =. harassment was reported on

containing suspected crack

plastic bags, large plastic bag

On, Nov. 26, an incident of
theft by deception was reported
on Hwy 80 East. Taken were
Negotiable Instruments.
On Nov. 26, an incident of
theft was reported on Forest
Brook Drive. A black Beretta
Model 21-A (BES42790U) was
stolen.
