I am passionate about the
future of the City of Linden;
therefore I am announcing my
Candidacy to run for re-elec-
tion as Mayor of the City of
Linden. My heart is in the City
of Linden, and I want the
opportunity to continue the
work that is in progress from
my first administration. It is
my hope and dream to see
Linden prosper and to be the
place that future generations
want to live.
I have lived in Marengo
County all my life, and in the
City of Linden since marriage
to my wife, Cheryl, 50 years
ago. We raised our two chil-
dren here, and they have raised
their children here. Our daugh-
ter, Cindi, is married to Dennis
Breckenridge, and they have a
daughter, Marti, and a son,
Hutson. our son, Christopher,
is married to Leah (Ramsey),
and they also have two chil-
dren, Jordyn and Ramsey.
I bring extensive business
and leadership experience to
the Mayoral position, with my
past political positions. I have
served on the Linden City
Council for two years, on the
Marengo County Board of
Commissions for 16 years, and
as Mayor of the City of Linden
for the past four years. I am
grateful for those who have
supported my past service.
I would appreciate your
continued support so that
together we can continue to
make Linden a town for all
people. Please vote for me,
Charles Moore, as your Mayor
on August 23.
