Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m., on April 15, 2012 at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Winter Haven, F1. She is survived by husband, Victor Chandler of Eagle Lake, Fl.; mother, Ineal Singleton of Linden, Louie Singleton (Marie) of Demopolis; sister, Neicey Cannon (Bud) of Linden, Kathy Akins (Kem) of Linden; sister-in-law Gloria Singleton of Linden; two broth- ers-in-law, Bob Chandler of Mexico Beach, Fl. and Frank Chandler, Jr. (Deborah) of Northport; son, Paul Chandler of Eagle Lake, FI.; and step- mother, Faye Chandler of Butler. Brenda was born in Linden, and grew up among a loving family of brothers and sisters. She attended Linden High School in Linden. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church where she married the love of her life, Victor Chandler. Brenda and Victor shared a faith and love of our Lord, Jesus Christ all of their years together. Brenda brought love, caring, and hope to all she met through her work with chil- dren with special needs and everyday life activities. She fought, with a smile and cheer to all those around her. a battle with cancer for the past several years. Brenda's life was an example of how love can over- come all life's difficulties. She resides now with our Lord in heaven having travded both joyous and troubled roads in life, always with a love for oth- ers and Jesus Christ. She made a home for her family in Eagle Lake fo, many years and helped children with special needs at Eagle Lake Elementary School. She was preceded in death by father, E.P. Singleton of Linden, father & mother-in- laws Franklin Chandler and Phyllis Chandler of Linden. and brother, Edward Singleton of Linden. Family requests no flowers be sent. Friends and family may wish to contribute to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Hospice, or another charity in Brenda's memory. Gholsby, a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends. Gertha Ree was born to the late Tommy and Katie Mae Lewis on November 27, 1944 in Marengo County. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Shiloh P.B. Church where she remained faithful. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two children, Barbara and Ezell, two sisters, one brother and one sister-in-law and one brother-in-law.
