I would first like to thank everyone for going out on March 13, 2012 to cast your vote in the Primary Election. I am eager, will- ing and ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work for all citizens of Marengo County. The State of Alabama does not require any experi- ence in Probate Law. It is a fact that 88% of Probate Judges in Alabama do not have a law degree including Marengo County. Once elected he or she will be trained to execute probate law after being sworn into the sys- tem. A good probate judge must be independent and must be impartial in his or her thinking. A good probate judge must also be free of outside influences. Politics should not play a role in decisions that affects your life, your children or your families. It's time for a change, so vote for fairness and vote for someone who has no political connections. I will be fail compassionate, objective and focused to all. I ask that you once again go back to the polls on April 24, 2012 and elect me Carla Gaines Mclntosh as your next probate judge for Marengo County. I would also like to ask for your prayers and that the citizens of Marengo County will decide with God's help to elect the best candidate for probate judge for Marengo County.
