The Town of Thomaston will hold a public hearing on Wednesday,
November 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Thomaston Town Hall locat-
ed at 345 3rd Avenue to discuss the completion of Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG Project No. SM-CM-PF-12-038)
that involved rehabilitation of the public water system. The Town is
interested in obtaining all citizens' input on the performance of local
officials, Town staff, consultants and administrators, engineers, and
contractors, and the actual use of CDBG funds during the implemen-
tation of the project. Citizens will also be requested to assess the per-
formance of the Town in resolving identified community develop-
ment needs and in achieving community development goals and
objectives. All citizens, including those in the targeted area, are
encouraged to attend in order to comment on the proposed activities.
